The Garage is BAF Gallery’s street-facing, glass-fronted public exhibition space. The Garage is intended to act as an interface between gallery programming and the surrounding community. 

A former loading bay, The Garage was converted into a space for art that is visible at all times from the street. The intention is both to spark curiosity, engaging passersby into the gallery, and to act as a low-barrier way for local artists to get involved in BAF’s activities. For these reasons, The Garage programming is determined by an open call to emerging artists from the local community.
